Scuba Diver Found a Good Friend www.youtube.com/watch?v= pfwdm5W2lWs
I admit surprise that a fish can respond like this.
I love my furfriends & enjoy sharing the smiles they bring with you. But nature is awesome - such strength, beauty & surprises to be found..
Oh Peggy, the video touched my heart and took me back to my childhood. I had the amazing experience of caring for an injured baby hammerhead shark for an entire summer. My Dad was deep sea fishing and he caught this baby. Knowing that the shark would die if he threw him back as the hook had torn his mouth. He scooped up a bucket of salt water and put the little guy in the bucket and brought him home. We had a breakwater next to our docks, which made a perfect nursery for the shark. The water was a briny cedar water. Cedar has strong healing properties The breakwater was a breeding ground for tiny brine shrimp. The cedar healed his mouth and the shark could catch his own meals. I spent time with him everyday and he recognized my voice and would come to the side of the breakwater so I would splash the water and he would go deep. This helped prepare him for his return to the ocean. When he was strong and healthy Dad and I returned him to the ocean.
Peggy, you share your love of animals everyday and so I wanted to share my amazing adventure with you!
