Oh boy seeing my last YAY August 2015 - getting back on track blog and thinking ... that didn't go well! I ended up on a crazy project that had a lot of hours. Then I started 2016 with sinus infections and acquiring seasonal allergies and just as I was trying to right the ship I got thrown into two complicated projects at work and the rest of my 2016 was a disaster. So many hours of work and not a lot of personal time. This year I've worked to get back on track - started out the year slower but made strong strides with cardio starting in May. 3-4 miles a night which was great exercise and good head clearing space In August I added in a strength challenge and hit my goal of finishing it. Was a lot of work but I did it. Have a slightly scaled back version for September because I know I'll have more crazy days. But my goal is to keep the work/life balance going to keep making progress. Fingers crossed! My goal of 200 workouts and 10K min in 2017 is still attainable if I keep it going.
I'm attaching my August strength plan - I put a red asterisk for every day I also got my walk/cardio/elliptical in. Managed to walk 75.76 miles and accomplish all those reps - like 1980 bridge pulses for the whole month. WOAH! :)
