I see my life as very boring and I'm now 60 which is not helping and I am so disappointed that I did not reach my target of 11st or less by this time. I am now so worried that I will put it back on.

I'm 63 Elaine & life is certainly not getting boring as I get older and having known you for some years I know you are interested in lots of things. As for your weight, don't beat yourself up that you didn't reach your target, with all you have going on with Michael you should be proud of what you have achieved. Just keep on planning your meals & your shopping & you won't go too far wrong. 1232 days ago

Try being 70 and not making your goals, it is depressing!!! But we keep on trying. We may never reach all our goals but we will reach some of them. We are in it to get healthy and be more physically fit so we can do more. 1233 days ago

Do not let yourself beat yourself up Your life at 60 is a new beginning. You have started on a healthy path and it may take longer but you have time to become all that you want. I do find the 60s are sometimes boring. I have joined 2 red hat groups and one community 50+ groups. I do attend the red hat functions (as they only go out to eat) and I pick what I like from the community groups offerings. I go alone. I have to make myself do it or I might once again turn to food as my best friend.
You can do it. I just started in April and I do know with Spark I am going to stay eating mindfully for the rest of my life. This is my new normal. I start my day with a cup of coffee while I read the new posts at start. I love reading about others success and struggles It add a depth to my solitary life. 1234 days ago
