Yep. It's going to be a LONG semester

Remember last fall when I had those girls in one of my classes that wouldn't let ask me ask questions and who kept using the computer during tests and working together on solo projects and sharing files and answers?

One of them is in at least one of my classes. With the annoying neighbor. Sigh. They kept closing the door and the window in the closet sized room yesterday. I had to get Dr. to order me anti axiety meds and made an appointment with campus counselling. Sigh.

When we were introducing ourselves, the annoying neighbor announces "I'm on track to graduate because I'm following the program" in this really snotty, superior tone of voice. She offended a lot of people, not just me. The instructor said it was nice that she didn't have anything else going on in her life to slow her down. I went last. And I said "I'm NOT following the suggested program because I have 3 concurrent majors, so I have multiple graduation dates. I also own a small business and run a shop." To which the instructor said "Wow. I don't think I've had you in a class yet?" I said "Yes, Ma'am, you have. I'm the student who lost her mom at the end of the spring semester." You could have heard a pin drop. She said "I'm amazed you're able to keep up with everything. Good job."

Yeah. Annoying neighbor was a little po'd I'd stolen her thunder. Oh well.

I'm heading out shortly for another class. My weekend is going to be a disaster, but it is what it is. I'll manage one way or another. More work than time again.

I changed my schedule yesterday. I dropped the psych class that needed the essay on the guitar player. I swapped it for an internet version. I'll get caught up on everything in a bit when I leave for campus. At least I HOPE I will. In any case, I will do the best I can and it will be good enough.

Hopefully, I'll get over the panic attacks with the tiny rooms in a few weeks and won't need meds for the entire semester.

I've got this, Right?

Pat yourself on the back Seni! You're doing great! I still don't know how you do it all. Just ignore the nasty people, there seems to be one everywhere you go. emoticon

Girl -- good for you for speaking up about what YOU'VE been through and still managed to hang in there! AND the instructor recognized that effort.

Let that snotty student eat your dust!
