Whole 30 - Day 21

Wednesday, September 27, 2017

Once again, an accident happened around 6AM on the bridge... so the whole south shore was like a parking lot! I have zero patience.. I mean it, that was frustrating. At some point, I was able to let go though... I guess I'm learning to zen!

Otherwise, it was a good day. I had a delicious avocado, cucumber and some of the virgin sauce my boyfriend made for the salmon on Sunday with tuna. I went for a bike ride afterward and I forgot the tuna on the counter. The cat (not mine.. his.. an agressive tabby female!) ate it. That'll teach me a lesson lol

Hum, just noticed it's the first time ever I blog everyday. I don't always have something interesting to say, that's why!!! Anyway, thanks for sticking with me!

Have a good day xo

You know... I think the thing with blogging is to say what is interesting/helpful to YOU. If you don't mind my saying so, it seems to me that you're emotions are a lot more level this month, and I think you're handling stress in a more measured way. I always learn a lot form going back through my own blogs. You might want to go back to the beginning of your journey, read forward and see what you discover!

Blogging doesn't mean you have to come up with creative and awe inspiring words. Just be yourself as you are in 3D. You learned a lesson today and that tuna will never be on the counter again without supervision from roaming cats. You must be tempting her big time with salmon and tuna in the house. The smells must drive her crazy. emoticon

Every day life is interesting to say the least and thank you for letting us be a part of it. You're doing so great and riding your bike relieves some stress of traffic. Patience is a virtue and has to be worked at. Patience also comes with age and you will get there. I would say when you are stuck in traffic what about putting in an audio book to listen to or relaxing music to get you through the traffic situations? When you are stuck did you actually take time to notice what is around you? Just throwing out some suggestions on how not to make traffic situations not so frustrating.

Take care Isabelle and you're on Day 21 already, gosh I remember when you didn't think you'd get past day 14.

Blogging does help with stress! I used to commute a lot and spend hours on the road so I can relate to that frustration. I hope you have a way to relax every day at the end of the day. You need it! emoticon

My boyfriend left a slice of pizza, in the box, on the very back of the oven once. My dog somehow managed to grab it and ate the entire slice. Terrible pancreatitis and a $300 vet bill later... I am now much more careful with my leftovers, ha!

Try stocking your stereo with mellow tunes to combat your traffic frustration. I like to listen to public radio (so I feel like I'm learning something), classical, books on tape, or... um, the Beastie Boys are really good for traffic... emoticon

Better just a serving of tuna than the mistake I made many years ago by leaving a large cheesecake to cool on the counter. Our Lab counter surfed and gorged herself; she was a very sick puppy for a few days😉. Keep your blogs coming, I too can't wait to see your weigh in results. emoticon

I make a point to blog most days, even if I don't have anything cool/exciting/significant/etc to say. It keeps me in the habit and keeps me focused a bit more on the journey rather than getting distracted from it. That's just me though.
