Whole 30 - Day 22

Thank you for your kind words about my blogs - I often feel like I am not worth taking other people's time for such trivial things. In the same time, I do read a lot of blogs and comment on most of them. That comes back to being your best friend heh? Treat yourself like you'd treat a friend.
My sister's (one of them! I got 2!) birthday is on the 29th and I volunteered to make the cake. I decided to do cupcakes, here's the result:
I used a store-bought mix and added color to the batter - I'm not super excited about the result, the color is too pale but it was the first time I did something like that. I'll add whipped frosting to the cupcake when I get to her place and sprinkled it with dark chocolat chunks. She'll think it's an ordinary cupcake until she bites into one! Oh =) That was a good test for my new lifestyle, I didn't taste the batter once and I didn't feel like eating one.
She's making dinner for us and she agreed to use a Paleo compliant marinade for the meat and she'll do a salad that I will dress with homemade mayonnaise instead of the usual dressing she uses. I bought a pomegranate-flavor sprinkling water to bring to the party and I was surprised to not see sugar as one of the ingredient on the list. Yes, it sports 19 g of sugar per 8 oz but no added-sugar, only the ones you find in the fruits. Still, 19 g is way over my daily allowance so I'll make sure to share the bottle =D
One of my colleague is on a sick leave and although it is sad for her, I might get a bit more work. That's good news! & the trafic this morning was very light, it took me 20-25 minutes as usual to get to work. No frustration.
I've been taking pictures of the psoriasis plaque on my knew cap for the last 10 days & it's getting better and better. I have to admit I thought it'd heal faster but progress is progress!
8 days left!
Keep on sparking xo
