Whole 30 - Day 24, 25 & 26

Monday, October 02, 2017

On Friday it was my sister's birthday and it was a nice, interesting evening BUT I ate chips (paleo-comlpiant ingredients but still..!) & drank the whole bottle of sugary drink I bought. It's official, my psoriasis feeds on sugar!

That's my knew cap psoriasis plaque on Sept 28.

That's on Sept 30 - the day after my sister's birthday! I also noticed a tiny winy plaque on my forehead.

I am flabbergaster by the difference! There's no need to tell you it increased everywhere.. not just on my knee cap! Lesson learned! (I hope!)

So I spent the whole weekend wanting to eat (and eating) way too much. That was real hard on Sunday as I didn't want to do anything - it was a crisp Autumn day with a clear blue sky but we stayed inside.

Anyway, it's a new week, only 4 days left on that Whole30 - I'm really excited for it to end & we are starting the Fall 5% Challenge on Oct 7th. I will reach Christmas goal on time, I'm sure!

Hope you all have a good week, peace xo

I wish I could figure out so easily what causes mine to flare I have taken out all sorts of things trying to tame it.Maybe it is because mine has gone beyond into psoriatic arthritis , but if that keeps it in check by all means tame it !

Yes. You have learned something. Now, what will you choose to do with the lesson learned?

The pictures speak volumes. You have the power to choose and the power to heal. emoticon

Wow, I was wondering about how it would effect it. You see how sugar does not do a body good. And you said it a lesson learned. I hope that you won't have sugar withdrawals as bad as you had when you first started this. It is so easy to get right back on the sugar train without even realizing it.

Only 4 more days and you will have completed the 30 day. As much as it dragged it also went by quickly. Now is the time to sit down and analyze what you have learned. What actually worked for you and what did not. This will you decide how to proceed in the future. Remember this is a lifestyle.

Hoping your Monday was a great day for you.

Ouch, hard way to learn but you can't deny that evidence. Keep pushing and good on you for entering another challenge; everything you've learned in the Whole30 will come in handy. emoticon emoticon

That blows me away!! I mean, I have read a lot about how sugar, too much sugar, isn't good for the body but for you, it showed right away! I need to SO badly stop eating junk and I thank you for showing me this. I hope you have a way to reduce your inflammation and I am sorry..... emoticon

I'm so sorry for the flare. The good news is that you know how to get it all back into check. So wise of you to have taken pictures for comparison.
