Whole30 - Day 28

As I write this recap of my previous day, there is only 2 days left to this challenge. My favorite old cheddar is on sale so... barely can wait! Fun fact, did you know that old cheddar were almost lactose-free? That, my friend, is a great news for such a cheese lover as myself =D

We are planning a thank you lunch next Monday for my family and friend who helped us move in last July. It's not going to be 100% paleo-compliant but there will be enough options for me to enjoy the food. Also, I'm the one doing the cooking so.. =D

I'm glad to report my knew-cap psoriasis plaque is almost gone now. The bigger plaques on me scalp are not gone but they're getting smaller and thinner.

Now, for those who were concerned about eliminating fruits from my diet - this is only temporary as I want to see exactly how it affects my body. Same thing for the Autoimmune Protocol I want to try later this year. I am my own experiment and only through detailed investigations can I understand how food impacts my health. I feel I've found a great tool to help me achieve vibrant health - I don't crave food as I used to. I can think about it but I don't obsess, which makes it bearable and controllable.

    Awesome Blog!!! You know it wasn't until I did W30, I realized that,. Hey perhaps this weight/ and overall feeling like crap may be due to Food Intolerance's?? Having no added sugar, processed food etc has been a major shift in the way I look at food. I too no longer obsess abt Food, some days I have to remind myself to eat!!! Last night I introduced Pasta! OY- We made a delicious W30 Compliant Tomato Sauce. I had a lil pasta and for the most part I felt Ok, until I woke up with morning.. Head Fog, bloated, just overall Blahh--

    P emoticon BLOG Isabelle!! SO HAPPY the psoriasis is definitely going DOWN! DOWN! DOWN!! AMAZING how BADLY the foods we today consider "normal" when it's NOT!! I've heard and am definitely considering going BACK to the foods my Mom made (Which are the foods SHE was raised with, and cooking style though Grammy LOL WAS MUCH better!! Shhhh, but they are both gone now), Of course, they could buy a piece of steak and it was MUCH better then the CRAP we buy off the regular shelf. For me, to get what they bought as CHEAP I'll need to buy organic, grass-fed. WHAT HAS HAPPENED??? EASY!! GREED!!

    TY for clarifying the fruit is only temporary! IF I HAD Used my BRAIN (LOL My Mom used to tell us kids "if you used your BRAIN instead of us using it as a HAT RACK!" blah, blah blah! LOL Ok, yeah Blah, blah blah we all heard!) I'd of KNOWN this. Your a very intelligent woman who's doing for health reasons AND you are benefitting! GREAT JOB!! Please accept my apology. Hugs hon!

    I am not lactose intolerant but love cheese! So good for you! emoticon And, my friend, isn't it great that people were concerned about your fruit intake? Even if they were wrong, people care about you and love you. I am still curious to see what happens with the sugar. If fruit isn't good for you, there are tons of vegetables and other foods you can eat and still get all your vitamins. So keep going! You are doing GREAT! emoticon

    This is so great Isabelle! Yep only 2 days left. Remember when you said it's only 14 days? Also, you're so right on the money when you stated "I am my own experiment" as only you and you alone knows your body. You are now just so much more focused on what is happening with it. Like I have said in many many of your previous blogs, I see such a great improvement in you. You can tell by your blogs. Seriously go back and read the ones before this "experiment".

    It makes me happy for you to see you enjoying life. Keep up the commitment and determination to see this thing through, its only 2 days now. Take care and kudos to you Isabelle. emoticon

    Great blog! "I am my own experiment." ABSOLUTELY. I think in general, we're so afraid of "yo-yo dieting," that many of us will just keep trying to do the same thing all while berating ourselves for not having enough willpower... This is the first time in my life I've ever had any success with weight loss, and it's only because I keep trying new things to find out exactly what works for me. Interested to read how your experiment with AIP goes!
