This morning we woke up to our first "must scrape windows" frost.
Thankfully the new windows have helped keep it warmer inside overnight with zero heat going.
Before school with Isaac got going there were chores to be done.
I did some sweeping and dusting while he worked on the dishes. I also remembered I never did get a photo of part of Maegann's room once she had things back, but this morning it showed signs of a teen scrambling to be ready for school!
Finally found some curtains that will fit those 3x6 windows and they should arrive tomorrow.
And the foundation work has officially begun! They are planning to pour cement tomorrow.
Took this one of Ellsworth exploring after they had left for a time. This will be the family room, master bedroom/bath add-on.
This is from the front of the house where the second garage bay will be going. Still a lot of dirt to move!
Tim and I headed out for our anniversary dinner at Mongolian BBQ. Our favorite.
Thought my fortune was right on the mark too!
Now he is off for a meeting at church with the pastor and one other person to finalize the plans for hiring a second minister as they are presenting it to the "cabinet" members tomorrow night. Once he's back he will need to help Maegann with her Geometry, but it seems she is fading quickly from working on Theatre all afternoon.
Tomorrow will bring more noise with the work crew AND they are planning to dig up our driveway in preparation for redoing the cement and adding the new section. Other than Isaac's school time, it is our day to go out for lunch and he is talking Chipolte again.
And just for fun.... When we were at Home Depot this weekend picking up curtains these cute little witch sisters were speaking Macbeth! Had to get a picture of Maegann with them due to her current English class finishing up Macbeth.
Double, double, toil and trouble...
Fire will burn and cauldron bubble...
