Reintroduction phase - Lactose... See You Never!

Thursday, October 12, 2017

It's official - I don't tolerate lactose.

I've tried some lactose specialty cheese and.. nope, it's a no-go. I think I might have had a reaction to Greek yogurt too but I am not 100% sure so I'll keep paleo-compliant for 3 days and then, try it again.

Otherwise, my body is hurting for no apparent reason. I believe it's mechanic rather than a sign of sickness. I used to go to a chiropractor but as I have no insurance, it quickly became too expensive. I decided to slow down on the walking for a coupe of days so it has time to heal. I'll see on the weekend how it goes.

Our Thank You lunch went well, the crackers were a hit and the burgers too. We had fun and I stayed mostly paleo compliant.

I want to eat... and so I eat. Too much. I'm happy to report I tracked it though, so the numbers are high but at least, it's recorded.

That's it for now. I hope you all have a good day xo

Well mystery solved, and you now you know. See by eliminating the things that were causing you problems, you now know what it is to feel better and will automatically choose not to go back. Listen to your body, and it will guide on how to proceed with diet.

Starting my elimination of sugar and all grains on Monday. Had to go shopping and we just got back from our trip, so things are not organized here yet. Take things a little at a time. I am looking forward to the day, that food does not become a priority for me.

Take care and have a super weekend.

It's so STRANGE in that I can not do milk with lactose, but I am FINE with everything else. Our bodies are WEIRD!!

Not sure if this will work for you, but it's something to at least look at online. In our area, we have a very large hospital that does what they term "Charity" care. If one's income is under a certain amount than they automatically take care of the bill. That person is allowed to go any place in their system which has so many zillion offices doing everything one needs A friend of mine is on this which is how I know they do it. She has mental health therapy, physical therapy and a bunch of other stuff all at NO cost.

WISHING YOU THE BESTEST!! TY hon for being a WOOF WOOF!!

A piece of your puzzle solved. Are you sure that it is the lactose and not the casein A-1? Have you attempted to eat goat and/or sheep cheese ... or cheese from Southern European cows - French, Italian, Swiss produced cheeses?

There's something about recording the good, the bad, and the ugly that really supports me. Our perceptions can be distorted and the tracking often helps me put things in perspective.

Even though I have been eating intuitively since July 2017 and have found myself eating to Paleo micronutrient levels, I am not targeting them. I trust my body and its guidance and that's what it wants from me right now; so, that's what I am giving it.

Keep up the great work, Isabelle! emoticon
