Pregnancy food tracking...a must!

After losing 50 lbs I got a surprise in the form of a baby. Wasn't the plan since I was working of getting myself healthy, but it is an exciting and welcome one.
Things were going well starting out, eating healthy and staying active, but at 23 weeks I had to have a cerglage and was given a 20 lb lifting restriction. From there the carbs started to creep in and so did the weight, until the last appointment when my doctor I suggested I try to not gain any more weight. I hadn't gained anything crazy, but 25 lbs gained with 2 more months to go is towards the top if what is ideal.
So back to tracking for me. I'm not trying to lose weight, but I do need to keep better track of what I am eating so that the pregnancy cravings (chocolate and ice cream) don't get the best of me. Luckily, tracking had become like second nature when I was losing weight and the simple act of doing it helps me by itself. I still allow a few indulgences on occasion, but baby is getting healthy food.
Two more months until I meet baby! My healthiest pregnancy yet!
