A review of 2017!

2017 was my second full year of full time Personal Training! I loved every minute of it! I competed in 2 Powerlifting meets. One was a local meet, which was for fun! The Second was USAPL NC State meet! I broke all of my previous records, and set records in the next lower age class! I was happy, but didn't qualify for Nationals, which was my goal. I was a bit bummed!
In May, I was offered a new job position within the Snap Fitness community! As I type this, I'm going into my 6th month as Manager! It's a smaller gym, but I'm enjoying the challenge, and the people! I'm still Personal Training....don't think I'll ever give that up!
Over the past 3 months, I have created a #TeamSnapPowerlifting team! We are going to compete in the local January meet! My new Training partner is also going to compete in the USAPL Battle on the Border in March, with me! I can't wait to see how well he does!
As this year closes out, I've decided to move up a weight class, in order to break all the Old records, which have stood since 2011! I love the extra power that comes from the extra 10#, but not the "fluffiness" that is part of it! But, there's always next Spring, after the meet to get back to cutting! Not having to "diet" is very enjoyable...especially over the holidays! But I'll pay for it later! LOL
