It's My Party and I Can Whine If I Want To

Friday, December 08, 2017

Went to the spine doctor today. The after effects of being being in the side while going 30 mph and the other driver doing at least 35 mph are ongoing. It affects how long I can sit, how long I can exercise, and how long I can sleep. I'm getting contacted by the at-fault party's insurance adjuster, but we can't seem to connect in real time. And why do they think they need my Social Security number? This is not SS business and I refuse to give it out as an identifier. I surely hope that whatever settlement I get is not considered income. If I get a settlement. I may never get back to where I was before blasted into by their customer. The spine doc offered to write an order for another facet block injection, but we decided to try the back brace and a donut cushion. I'm not sure why the insurance company thinks I'm going to be all better less than seven months after being a major accident. They should feel lucky that I was driving a Subaru. The car was less than a year old! Okay, enough of the pity party. Time to put on my big girl pants and move on.

You're not whining at all. Justified observations. I hope things improve soon.

Very sorry for your misery; you have a right to whine. You may consider getting yourself an attorney. They will take the case on contingency.
