Every Christmas, I make the table centerpieces for my family. My Mon gets one and my daughter Laura's table gets one. My table, of course, gets a small one, and then I find a friend who I honor. Her table will also get one.
First, I get the floral foam and some carnations from WalMart. Then I make a trip to Good Will Thrift Store for more vases. Next, I go out into the woods for some hemlock and balsam branches.
We had to drive around our town to find berries, but we got plenty!
I fit the foam into the vases and add water until the foam is saturated. Finally, I add the carnations, branches, and berries.
My family appreciates the touch, and I get in a short hike in the process.
I still need to add a bow. What do you think?
