My husband and daughters invested in me this Christmas. They got me the Fitbit Ionic that I have been wanting. It has been a new motivator for me, although I am a little bit wary of the "Calories burned" number, seems a little extreme, but, I will wait and see how it goes. I am quite proud of myself in my accomplishments this year. I wish I had taken a photo of the 1st time I really used the treadmill this past May. I struggled to do 1 mile in less than 30 minutes. Today I did 3 miles in 50 minutes. WOW! I have been trying to do the 4 mph or 15 minute mile, but the best I seem to do is 17 minutes walking. I have to , gasp, JOG to accomplish this goal. Bwahaha. I want the "0.0" sticker for my truck, I DO NOT RUN! I sometimes get 1 minute at a time at a VERY slow jog on the treadmill. I try to push myself to do at least 1 minute every 10-15 minutes walking. Sometime next decade I may make it to a full 15 minutes, lol. My goals for the coming months is to walk at least 10 miles a week and do some weight training 1 or 2 times a week. I've been frustrated with my weight loss for the last couple of months. It seems the 1st 40 pounds lost was easier than the 41-50 pounds stretch. My goal is to lose 100-110 pounds total. Not sure if feasible, as I haven't been 120-130 pounds since Middle school, Wow, that really is a scary reality. Oh well, onwards and downwards ( on the scale). I don't like to do NEW YEAR's RESOLUTIONS, mainly because I have never been realistic with them, so this year is to do what I have been doing the past 6 months, but a little bit better. Happy New Year, Peace and Hugs, Y'all.
