Last day of the year

I am thinking i want to avoid eating food with added sugar . I don't know exactly what too much added sugar is...i know if sugar is towards the front of the ingredient list it means too much sugar...for now. ...today...i want to avoid foods that are obviously for entertainment, like desserts. I cannot think of any reason to eat cookies or cake beside recreation... And for the most part i end up regretting it when i consume it and it is rarely as tasty or satisfying in my mouth as it was in my imagination , So i want more. And there is never enough...so one is tooo many for me, most of the time...so best course is to avoid it. It is 1:40 am sunday. Let me end the year without desserts.


And i want to write down what i eat too....

    What I noticed that when I had that period when I avoided to eat added sugar entirely, my sugar craving changed completely. I enjoyed food with less sugar, and didn't had those urges to eat sweet things. At the moment, I am eating also quite a lot of sugar, so it would be time to cut back on it again.

    As for the ingredient list, also look for the composition. Carbohydrates are more often then not are added or natural sugar in the foodstuff. Also, if the protein and fat content is low, and the carbohydrates are high, this can mean the energy comes from sugar. So if you look for food choices with higher protein content, that can help.

    You are probably echoing the thoughts of many of us here. Well said. Life just gives us more challenges. I agree totally with the imagined flavour being so much better than the taste when we try it. The smell coming off fries is so different from the actual taste.
