Slow and steady

Still no scale progress, but not expecting much yet. Making slow progress, re-altering my lifestyle. Right now I feel lucky not to gain more.
Had a big social event complete with decadent potluck grazing on Sat. I did indulge but I did not stuff myself, and in fact after a period of grazing made myself walk away from the food. I still consumed too many calories, but I didn't gorge as normal or drink to much of the copious booze available. (This is a win). also the building had stairs which I climbed at least 10 times through the day.
Last night I bumped my tread mill speed from 3.1 mph to 3.2 mph. I also managed two 30 second sprints. Better than I HAVE been doing in a long time.
Tracked my calories a few day (not all) but it's enough to see the areas where I got in the habit of over consuming. Mostly it's my afternoon snack and generally over-sized portions.
Last week I had 2 slices of Pizza instead of 3. I had One beef Fajita instead of two.
It's not much, but eventually it will build to more and I am hoping that the gradual changes to my lifestyle will become permanent.
