habits... good and bad

So, I've broken up with my scale for a couple of days this week. As I am retaining water, I wouldn't be able to see what is going on anyway, besides discouraging me in the meantime.

So, after three days, I caved. Yup, I stepped on the scale today (note that the first time I typed it, I put scare....fruedian slip, non?). Anyway, I'm still retaining water. And I have gone up about half a pound. Kinda hard to tell as I have one of those analog scales (it's a dial, not a digital readout). So, no dif. NIIICE. (phew)

    Things fluctuate, and using different scales, or different times of the day, or different clothes, or time of month ... it all just adds random noise.
