And, we're off! 2018....diving in with both feet!

2018 is starting off to be a great year in my lifting life! I set 2 PR's in my deadlift and my bench! I've increased my deadlift by 12# since my last meet, last June. My squat has increased by 15#, and my bench by 10#! So, in 6 months, I've gained 37# on my lifts. That's OK, but I'm looking for a 50# increase by this time next year!! I am shooting for a 300# deadlift, a 250# squat, and a 150# bench press!

Powerlifting is not something you walk up to, and pick up 150, 250, or 300# right out of the gate! It's something that takes time and dedication! "How bad do you want it?!" is our motto! I have a team of 6 great guys, with whom I train! Yes! I'm the only female...as of now! I'm hoping to get more women interested, and lifting along side of me!

The next meet, March 24th, I will be lifting along side of my training partner, Big T...aka Tony! This is a meet where we are both going to leave everything on the platform! Going to break records, and bring home medals!

What does the rest of 2018 hold in store for me? I don't know! But I'm anxious to see! I'm working hard to make it the best!
