A blinding Blizzard on an UBER DAY_

Well, I feel like this Donkey--just peeking out at the world--maybe wishing I was still in bed--

Yesterday was an UBER day---a day Himself goes in to his office---with me being the driver--A ton of snow had fallen---I knew that--as I had been out clearing off the bricks in front of the garage---

All went well, till----we got out onto the highway----
The highway was NOT ploughed--at all---
Now we in the North, pride ourselves on having safe vehicles, with special tires which grip the ice and snow--We can drive safely through pretty much everything--

The problem yesterday, was I could not see the highway, for snow falling sideways--
It felt like I was in "Little House on the Prairie:---
The trip to town--as well as the trip back home, were "White Knuckle drives " for sure!
For some reason, there were no ploughs out--even on my return trip to pick up my Uber passenger--In fact that trip was even worse, with Himself telling me to just go slow and I could make it home.

Beau began to bark viciously after supper, with Himself shouting, "Stop it Beau--stop it!"--
You see, in the bush, where we live, no-one ever comes to the door---
"Maybe it's Andre, the plough guy", I said----AND IT WAS_---
Lord love a Duck! He ploughed out the whole driveway----I ran out to give him coffee and a piece of hot blueberry cake---
I love this guy----and I really really love his truck!

I did not get on the scales this morning,
Yesterday's stressful situations I know, do not sit well with my scales---

And to-morrow is Ground Hog Day--not much chance of an early Spring up here!-
