And the saga continues.... Isaac headed to practice with his uniforms in hand to return. He said the coach told him to hang onto them until after practice. Isaac asked which team he wanted him to practice with and the coach told him "the A team". He then went and apologized to all the players of that team for his behavior and then they got down to work. End of practice the coach told him he would be needing those uniforms as he was not moving to the B team after all. Told him he was too good to move down to the other team and he promised to find more time for him to be in the game next week. Tomorrow's game he is to be ready to play, but he will not be in the game as a team consequence. I am so thankful for this coach! He did good! Isaac is now fine with it all and actually said he told the coach that he really messed things up and he was sorry. That's huge for this kid!
This morning was school with Isaac, a dental cleaning for me, a nap and then paid work. I did get that plan drafted and out by evening for edits. The one thing that did not get done was PT exercises. I'm icing tonight though as the knee is swollen. I've got a different sore spot so I am calling the therapy place tomorrow morning about it. Wonder if I'm doing an exercise that is irritating it or need a new one.
Maegann had a rough evening as the new counseling need is to help her be more concerned for others when they have something happening that makes them sad. She lost that ability somewhere along the line this past year. He told her she must get this turned around. Then tonight she was quite down because she's tired of being told she is loud. I'm going to make an appointment to have her hearing checked as she said since the concussion she has a low buzz that won't stop and tonight we figured out that when she is whispering it is actually just a quiet speaking voice. When she thinks she is speaking normally, she is actually too loud. I'm planning to shift to a local doctor even though we love Dr. Tom, but it is so hard to get help easily through the clinics he works through and it's a long drive. I think I'll get a family doctor as I need one too.
Tim is doing better today overall regarding the loss of his friend. The service is Saturday afternoon. Today the office had a meeting and they are starting their re-organizing of tasks to keep Curt's legacy running smoothly.
Tomorrow will be school as usual, Maegann home about 1:45 and Isaac to the school about 2 to be there on time for the game bus.
