Exercising early in extreme cold!

This will be a great day--because I got my 30 minutes of exercise in--
I got to do, 15 minutes on the Treadmill, 12 minutes of abdominals and about 8-10 minutes of weights-

It's an Uber Day which means Himself will be driven to and from his office--by ME-
Everyday that I have time for an early morning workout is wonderful--
I always feel so much better afterwards---(after all the moaning and groaning in my head that maybe if I skipped the exercise for now, and do it later---well, you know those thoughts !)
My wee little workout early in the morning, seems to keep the sciatica at bay---

It is minus 27.5 Celsius outside here right now---
It has moved down from when I took the picture-
Dogs and people do not stay out too long at that temperature-
Hopefully by noon, the temperature will rise to a balmy minus 10 Celcius-
This has been an extremely cold winter---
We usually , used to get , maybe 2 weeks of extreme cold temperatures-
This winter, the cold, has been with us since December-

We do have an indoor pool in town---several arenas, plus several gyms, which I used to haunt----I find that our home gym in our rec room now, saves me that drive to town and back-
freeing up more time for me to (*S*)--drive Himself to town----
Funny how one's life changes as one ages!

We equipped our home gym with free weights--a weight bench--a few large balls of various sizes, that "Treadmill"--a stair stepper and my favourite back board, shaped like an arch, which I lie backwards on and it stretches out my spine and seems to help the sciatica-

I dream of "the big melt down" up here-
The snow all will disappear in about 2 weeks when it begins-usually the end of this month--or early into March-
And when I shed the Parka, hopefully the ol' body won't resemble Bertha Blimp---

Hopefully we will go from that one picture--to the other---sooner than later--

Lord love a Duck--- if the early morning exercise keeps up--Himself and I just might get out bicycle riding!
