De-stressing and Himself!

I just read a Spark Article on how to de-stress your life over the period of a month-
In fact, I printed it out-
Meditate--de-clutter your desk--accept imperfection, practice patience---forgive and forget----even cry--some ways which might help a person to relax--not worry, and perhaps would lead to a weight loss.

Last evening I tried to play the piano----Even the Germans (as in dogs)-did not take up their usual positions beside the piano, as my mind seemed to be working overtime, preventing the notes from sounding like they should.
Would son #2 that Air Canada Pilot ever make it back to Toronto, which had an ice storm going on?
Did son #1 get to Toronto, where he was taking his daughter to Sick Kids?- and, how was she doing?
Did our Daughter's son feel any better, who lives in Ohio, and has the flu?-

Lord love a Duck!---I tell my grown children, they never need to worry, as I do it all for them!
And of course, everyone far and wide, did survive their evening very well--
It was me who went to bed feeling like my mind had been in a hurricane, racing all over with nowhere to land--

I try singing when life gets tough--reading about faraway places, when my dry eyes allow it--which by the way, have been very sore lately--
Himself finally diagnosed the eye problem, as he watched me holding and petting Sushi, the cat who came in from the cold, and who I love to grab and laugh at her antics.

"" Do you wash your hands after you hold her?' Himself asked me yesterday.
And you know, I never do---
"That's why your eyes are so sore I bet" he replied.

-- from then on, after his reaction to me squeezing this tiny wee cat, and after washing my hands a million times before adding drops to my eyes, I was amazed!

Himself really is one extremely smart Doctor----even if he only hears me some of the time!
