February 13, 2018 GETTING THROUGH THE WOODS
We all have some type of issues in life. And when things start working out, another problem arises. We are never out of the woods. There will always be issues, but we can get through the woods in peace when our focus is on God. Those who don’t have God are attempting to get through the woods alone and are miserable looking for every way out. However, God is the only way. We should seek God and humble ourselves before Him and He will help us get through the hard times in life.
2 Chronicles 33:12 “But while in deep distress, Manasseh sought the Lord his God and sincerely humbled himself before the God of his ancestors.” (NLT)
1. Write about a time you were going through hard times.
2. List what you did and what happened.
3. Know God is your only hope to get out of the woods.
4. Remember to trust in Him and humbly go before Him for help.
Dear Lord, we know there are going to be issues in life. We know there are going to be times when we feel our lives are over. We also know we can count on You to help us during these times. Help us to remember to come to You, to humble ourselves before You, and completely trust in You knowing You will help us move out of our troubles and have a story to share with others. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
When we submit our lives to God, He will help us through the hard times.
No one can help us when we are going through the woods of life and feeling lost. No one but God.
God is able to show us a way out when we believe in Him and humble ourselves before Him.
We will have issues in life. That’s just how life is. However, when we go to God with our issues, He can help us be strong and get through them.
When we put our trust in God, He will help us when we are dealing with tough issues.
Hebrews 10:35 “So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you!” (NLT)
When we have confident trust in God, we can get through anything. He is all we need!
