Derailed Again

Thursday, February 15, 2018

I know that it only takes a little to derail me. One little thing that is so big to me determination is the scale. A week of exercising, drinking water, logging food and movement only to see the scale stay at the same place. Undid me totally. That is so insane, because I knew that I was not bloated, my stomach was smaller, I felt better, but I fell off the program.

Tomorrow is another day. No scales this time. My friend lost over 30 pounds and never set foot on the scales. I will try to follow her lead. Maybe just use the tape measure this time.

Starting over again.

I hear you and yes, it can be demoralizing to do everything "right" and find the scale doesn't move. We all know that losing weight isn't a linear downward trend (would that it were!). If we can focus on all the good things we're doing for ourselves that can help. remembering that eating right, exercising, drinking water, sleeping, getting rest.....is just plain good for us and we deserve to treat our bodes that way. The weight loss is an added benefit and if it doesn't happen one week, so what?
emoticon and think of all the success you have and will continue to have.
