A Secret to your success so far!! Sparkpeople for sure but what can't you stop doing!!

If someone asked you what is the secret to your weight loss, what is a secret that you use, something other than eat less, exercise, Sparkpeople, drinking water! an example would be Bragg apple cider vinegar, honey, and water. Or a special smoothie! Or hard boiled eggs for snacks? This is my thought for the day? What is yours?

    What has helped me is logging what I eat, and seeing how many Cal. each recipe has. Since I started Spark Dec. 27th, I have only used recipes from their recipe site, which helps me track what and how much is in my food. I'm a very competitive person, and have made it a kind of game where I try to hit all my marks in the Daily nutrition report. I will admit that that has led me to stuffing my face with spinach at 2 in the morning to reach my vitamin A goal, but it has worked for me. I've lost almost 30 lbs. so far, and am feeling much better.

    Right now what is working for me is a big breakfast (eggs & veggies), a medium lunch (lean protein & veggies), and a light dinner ( cereal & fruit). I try with all my might to eat dinner before 6 pm. It is making a difference on the scale for me. Last month I did a whole30 cleanse program and it was a good challenge for me. Lost 10 pounds. I am working on restoring a healthy balance to my routine now without gaining. Everyone is different, I think the most important thing is listening to your body and making small changes toward a healthier you. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

    What helps me is trying to eat at least 5 fruits and veggies. Keeps me focused and feeling energetic.
