just sayin’ … food for thought

When the student is ready … the teacher will appear!!! And sometimes all the teachers at once!!!

I have been going through the motions for months and months now. I’m up 30 pounds. … had to buy three pairs of pants to fit my “up” size. I’ve been “sick” for 2 ½+ months … started with bronchitis and hospitalized pneumonia. Then almost strep throat … still not sure the culture came back negative correctly for how bad I felt. Now, “just” a cold. Feel yucky … physically and mentally. Hubby says I’m … sensitive and just down right … grouchy.

I have been on a binge cycle for a while with food and stinkin’ thinkin’ … gotta eat everything I can find NOW coz I am gonna start over with my elimination protocol and CAN’T have anything “fun” to eat once I start over. A binge to me is NOT a cookie here and there … but a whole package and, and, and … well, you get the picture.

Exercise? What’s exercise????

I’m back from my Dallas Quilt Show trip where I spent a week plus with BFF who lost her hubby just two months ago to … pneumonia. Her hubby went into the hospital the day after I came home from the St Louis hospital from pneumonia and continued to battle for weeks. While in Dallas, BFF and I gorged on allllll our favorites … coz life was worth eating … I mean … living.

I am allll caught up on reading allllll my Sparker friends post. Many, many lessons within each and every one of them. Here are a few:

I’m half way through day 4 of being on track. I'm repeating both The Beck Diet Solution and 100 Days of Weight Loss forums. Books you DO not read. Because it's about habits ... not food.
