Who is In Control?

There are times when it's fun to have another person drive. Lina is driving the play truck, and we're having a blast! It's not so much fun in life when kids control the family. Turning over the control of your life to another person can have both good and bad effects.
My husband generally wants to go for a walk in the afternoon when I get home from work. Usually, this is a good thing. Yesterday, however, I skipped my walk because he didn't want to go. Many nights, he will cook a low-carb meal and I'm thrilled. There are nights, though, when I'll eat a little pasta because he did the cooking, and made a pasta dish.
If I'm going to lower my A1C, I need to take more control over my eating and my exercise. Some days, I'll have to do it alone. That's not a bad thing!
