getting back on track

After a ski accident, I am now trying to get back to exercising in the gym on a regular basis. Starting tomorrow. I belong to the Y and I think at this point, swimming would be my best choice with possibly doing some cardio on a bike as well. Don't really want to spend time going to Physical therapy when I have been down that road several times with two partial knee replacements. I skied 3 times in one week after a very strenuous vacation trying to keep up with my little sister....Went to Costa Rica and did a lot of hiking kayaking and whitewater rafting. We stayed on a hill that was a really hard climb every day....we used the local buses as much as we could and also did rent a car for a couple of days, but it was hard on my knees even though I had dropped a few pounds and lowered my BMI by 1 percent before I left. Too much pounding on the knees and gained more weight when I got home and started eating too much junk food.
So back with Sparks and getting back on track.
