On The Trail Again!

Knee surgery, injuries and busy life can keep a person from hiking remote mountains. Some people just call it quits, and start settling into a sedentary life. Not us!
There are ways to recover your hiking trails and enjoy new and old peaks. These two factors helped John get hiking again!

1. Patience is a virtue. Don’t rush the healing process. The second injury on top of the first only makes the process slower. Allow your body time to heal. John’s knee surgery was at the end of August. He waited until he was cleared by the doctor to ride
2. Persistence keeps you steady and on the course! Every day you need to do something to move you forward.
Patience and persistence can get you back where you want to be after a serious injury or surgery. We have hiked a few gentle slopes in preparation for our first real climb! We will be hiking Mt. Monadnock when the snow clears!
