THE DIVINE INCARNATION
He made Himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man. He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to death--even death on the cross.
Jesus gave up everything when He came to Earth, laying down the powers and privileges of His divine nature to depend completely and utterly on His Father to work the miraculous through Him. This is history's ultimate act of humility. God becoming a man, knowing He would be rejected, scorned, humiliated and condemned to die by the cruellest means possible.
As Christians, we can step into that place Jesus alone deserves, that of being totally right with the Father and justified before Him.
God has not only restored Jesus to His former glory, but because of the divine incarnation and obedience of Jesus even unto deal. He is the life that becomes our life and lives on into eternity with Him.
Precious Lord, thank You for becoming the humble servant on earth and rescuing us from sin and death. We pray for all those who have yet to receive everlasting life in You. Thank You, Lord Jesus. Amen.
Thank you my Spark Friends for coming to my blog and adding your comments today. Sending you God's richest blessing for you and your family. May God wrap His comforting arms around you in your glad times and times of trouble. He will comfort you and stay with you never to leave your side while you need Him.
A very close Christian friend of mine, Nancy Ongena, suffered a stroke last night and was found my her daughter. She is in the hospital and Trina called and asked for prayer for Nancy. If you are able, please pray for Nancy. She is a beautiful Christian and is 68. Thank you my friends.
