A NEW HEART

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh
Ezekiel 36;26

As Christians, we are the people of God indwelt by His Spirit, and it is within our heart that the life-transforming work of God begins. He changes us from the inside out, first with a hunger and thirst for righteousness which begins to express itself in Christ-like attitudes and behavior.
We will falter and fail, but what people will see is hardness turn to compassion, green to generosity, despair to hope and hatred to forgiveness and love. In Christ, our hearts of stone have been removed and the evidence of a new heart will be conveyed in a myriad of ways that reflect the image of Christ. This is the goal of the Gospel and God's intent and desire for us.

Lord Jesus, thank You for turning our hearts of stone into hearts where You make Your home and work in us. Help us,Lord, to surrender all to You. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen

Wishing all our Greek Orthodox Christian Friends a blessed Easter. May God bless you every one. I was brought up in a Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church and we celebrated both Easters but the with the Orthodox one, while Grandma and Mother were still alive, we celebrated with Ukrainian traditional foods. I miss that now since I am alone. emoticon

My heart and prayers go out to the boy's hockey team from Bolt Saskachewan whose bus was struck by an 18 wheeler truck and 15 members of the team died and the rest are in the hospital with sever injuries. May God be with them and their families and comfort them during this time of sadness and mourning. May He comfort all the families during this time. Thank You Lord. emoticon emoticon

Thank you my Spark Friends for coming to my blog and leaving your comments. Sending you God's richest blessings for you and your families. May He comfort you and wrap His arms around you during you good times and times of trouble. God bless you.
