just sayin’ … Lose 22 Pounds in 9 days!!!

I thought I’d get your attention with that title … Lose 22 Pounds in 9 days. That’s straight from the headlines of Woman’s World March 5, 2018. Oh … if it were only true.

I minimized my calories by … millions … a day.
I have been walking again 5x a week for two weeks now.
And … for 6+ days I have been following my “detox protocol” eating certain foods daily to rid myself of allllll antibiotics and medicine I have taken over the months and months of illnesses.

The scale says I have lost … drum roll please … 0 pounds.

@#$! zero pounds … the scale didn't change one iota, zilch, nada.

Are ya kidding me.

SlenderElla61 said in her blog … If I can start feeling successful, it will be easier for me to eat right and move more!! My sentiments exactly. Sooo, where is the success???

I feel sooo much better.
I can think straight again.
And … no bingeing.

Several of you “checked” on me over the week. I usually post on the weekends … but didn’t recently. I truly am happy … ecstatic … to report I have not binged … promise.

Though I didn’t lose 22 pounds in the last couple of weeks … I have gained back my determination.

My arms won’t look smaller … just coz I cover them up. ~Kenlie@alltheweigh

    I am back to trying to figure out what works for me, what support I need, where I will get my most inspiration, etc etc etc.

    What I can say is that yesterday was my first day within my calorie range in...months. MONTHS.

    I'm going to take that as a victory.

    I got some stuff planted and herbs. Getting my strawbale garden ready to go..but will not trust the weather till at least May. Winter has been so mild I am still waiting for Spring to throw rocks at us.
    Sure has done a number back East!!

    Yeah well.. ..her body must not have been functioning right and maybe she was put on meds to lose all the fluid she was holding. Ya think??? My brother who is 91 just spent 3 days in hospital with fluid around his heart & lungs. He was having a lot of trouble breathing. While he was there he was put on extreme meds and he lost 21 pounds of fluid. So I guess that is one way to do it. I would rather keep on with the daily grind doing the best I can to watch my choices, my portions and keep exercising. By the way, my brother is seeing a cardiologist in May to determine if he is strong enough for a valve replacement.

    To lose 22 pounds in nine days takes at least 11 committed, consistent, people who are working very hard to make that happen.

    I try to focus on one day at a time and after 7 days I am optimistic that I will see a loss. Not necessarily are large loss, just a loss. The scale gives us data not judgments on our behavior or self worth. For me, if the scale is not moving in my desired direction after a couple of weeks, I need to look at my basics, planning, portions control and tracking. Seems it’s always one of those that is sliding in my case.
