This message and others about God's faithfulness have been coming out of the woodwork today and I am so thankful for the promptings to remember He's got this.

VERY long day. Things escalated during Sunday School and ended up with Maegann choosing to be admitted to Intermountain Hospital because of the continued desire to cut. She was one tired out girl by the time we finally got to the point of them going through her bag to see what she could keep with her. Not much....she was sad she couldn't keep her Bible and gratitude journal (because of the ribbons), but nothing she could do about it.

I have texted with Michael so he would know what was happening and that he may get a visit from the school resource officer as she had mentioned him to our friend Angela at church (also a police officer). So thankful for Angela today.

We finally got home about 6:30 tonight (her appointment was at 2) and then went to pick Isaac up and go to Mongolian BBQ for supper. I have since sent emails to several individuals at the school and counseling office and talked with two friends from church as I'd promised an update. Dave is also a Stephen's Minister (one-on-one care for a member) at our church and I'd already planned to visit with him before all of this went down.

Tomorrow.... groceries (maybe), school with Isaac, fun lunch, more phone calls with doctor's, etc., visit with Maegann (our time is 6-7pm) if she wants us to come and I think that's more than enough for one day that is sure to still be emotional for me.

I can't begin to understand all you and your family are going through. I can and am praying for you and now the drs so they'll be directed by God to provide whatever help is needed. Stay strong in your faith!!! Though it may seem you're alone and overwhelmed, God WILL provide for all your needs. There are so many of us praying for you and all your loved ones. Jesus will not let you down!

I applaud the courage and strength that enabled your daughter to share her struggles and your family to make such a decision. She is exactly where she needs to be...a therapeutic, safe place. Prayers for all of you....

ahhh Janet...so sorry..but glad she recognized the need for help, in a way that is a positive and progress.
My GD that I raised did the cutting thing for a time. She was talking to a school councilor and when I went in for a session I found that she was blaming me for being too strict and not listening to her. Amazing..she never said that to me and we never really bumped heads that bad , or so I thought. But I understand the stress and pain. I am so sorry you and Maegann and your whole family are going thru this rough time!
