New week begins...dedication and consistency needed.
Sometimes I think I would like to get packaged meals that say...You eat this only!
ahhh but those are mucho bucks ..so I need to get on fire and go build my own!!

Cut way back on bread..not missing it as much as I once might have. As long as I do not break down and make Indian Fry Bread...who can resist that..not me thas for sure.

Got several days worth of salads chopped up and in the fridge. Need to set up AM Oats and tomorrow will be in the bag!

I keep reminding me to just take this one day at a time..then something happens. I end up thinking ..today is all I have..I better eat what I want.I .might never get to eat it again.
I , in the past, trained dogs. One of the easiest to train were those with a high food drive.
Well that might work for pups..but it sure doesn't work for me. The last thing I need for a reward is a tiny doggie bone treat!! emoticon
But my point is ..I feel like I fit in that category...High Food Drive. I start out with all good intentions. Even do the prep work. It only takes those magick words..let's eat out and it all goes down the tubes!! No resistance to tempting foods. I will not give 6 or 8 bucks for a salad when eating out...I have lots of salad at home and it is better than this lettuce and tomato thing you call a Salad. Mine has everything but the kitchen sink in it and it is GOOD!
So this week ..kinda started today..but need to really buckle down..one meal at a time..and stick to my plan! If I am gonna fix the food...then by golly I should eat the food!!
So my promise to me is to eat veggies with every meal ...and at least one big ole salad a day!
I will be checking in with stats to record how I have done.
My New Mantra...you can if you think you can! nuff said.

Headed off to do my Spanish lesson. I read once that what you read or study right before sleep will stay with you . So I do my lesson review shortly before lights out in hopes it will penetrate this super hard object referred to as "MY head"...I have even been told it contains a fairly decent brain if I keep using it!!

    Sounds like you prepped like a BOSS!! Good job--I did a whole lot of that myself yesterday, and have done well with my two meals so far today, but like you, I may be a High Food Drive Mutt-lol- so I will do as you say, and go into my kitchen to resist the seductive call of the meal out.....I keep telling myself "BEST MEALS AT HOME" and when I finally get it prepared, I actually believe it!! Hope you crush the week! emoticon

    I don't like packaged meals lol! emoticon Katie...lots of veggies and salads, lean meat and fish..sounds so easy BUT!!!!! like you when I eat out I want the things I should not have ..like clams and chips etc. I still order the clams, but no chips add a salad instead,

    I am with you on the packaged meals. My dream is to win the lottery and hire a chef that will feed me healthy and delicious food lol!
