May 7, 2018 JUST AND FAIR
In this world where so many things don’t seem to be fair, we can get discouraged. We can feel as if the whole world is against us. And it’s true. This world is full of sin and most people are only focused on themselves. They don’t think about what is fair and right for others. We see it in the news every day and often experience it firsthand. However, when we focus on God rather than this world, we can see fairness and justice prevail. What a great promise from God because He is great and just and fair with all people.
Deuteronomy 32:4 “He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect. Everything he does is just and fair. He is a faithful God who does no wrong; how just and upright he is!” (NLT)
1. Write down how God has been fair to you.
2. List the ways He was just and fair to those in the Bible.
3. Remember to trust in Him and not this world.
4. Don’t get discouraged from this world but focus only on God.
Dear Lord, we are so thankful You are just and fair. We see so much wrong in this world. However, when we turn to You and Your word, we see only good. Help us to focus more on You and remember how great You truly are. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
God is just and fair. If we keep our focus on Him rather than this world, we will see how great He truly is.
God shows no partiality to anyone. He always treats people fairly.
Deuteronomy 10:7 “For the Lord your God is the God of gods and Lord of lords. He is the great God, the mighty and awesome God, who shows no partiality and cannot be bribed.” (NLT)
When we focus on God rather than this world, we will have a better attitude because of how great He is.
God does no wrong and treats us all as His own children. He will judge us all fairly.
Psalm 9:8 “He will judge the world with justice and rule the nations with fairness.” (NLT)
