My New Year's Resolution
Wednesday, May 23, 2018
Let me start out by saying that I do not make my new year resolution on January 1st. That may be the calendar's new year, but that is not mine. My new year is May 27th and it is time to announce my resolutions. I will keep myself to 3, to keep it reasonable.
1. I will lower my stress level. I've already started on this by getting another job, although I'm going through the background check process and other onboarding. I'm hoping that it will be way less stressful than what I'm doing now. Hopefully, the pay will be just as good and I won't have financial stress. I want to try to do yoga and find other ways to reduce my stress.
2. I will improve the state of my health by losing weight and finding new ways to control my migraines. If I need to get a new health care team, then I will do so.
3. I will begin to find ways to fit in exercise. By accomplishing #2, or having less migraine days, I will be able to increase workout days. I would like to start out having 1 day a week in the month of june and seeing how much I can increase that to.
So yea, I think that is a good start. The good thing about new years resolutions are that they are goals and goals can always be reached with enough determination.
