So here's the thing. The LTGL (Live the Good Life) challenge of the Spring 5% challenge wants me to write a blog - something which I have never done. I am pretty good with machines (who can't talk back to me) but not so good with this type of stuff.

I have been doing 5% challenges for some time now and really enjoy them. They make me accountable not only for exercising but also for random activites (like writing this blog) that help me focus on lifestyle. Although I have a hard time losing 5% of my weight, it all boils down to not gaining any. Since retiring I have travelled a lot and that always rhymes with weight gain. The challenges are a motivation for me.
