I can't believe I'm here updating again and blogging about events that happened one month ago! I'm becoming a politician: breaking promises!
Last days of April and first days of May we were very busy preparing for my Son's Graduation. So, most of my pictures from those days are just documents and interesting things I saw in between errands.
On April 28th, I almost fainted when I saw José Feliciano, a famous Portorrican composer, guitar player, and singer driving a car next to us. I forgot to say that he is BLIND! Everybody has a double!
I also took a picture of a Moriche palm flowering and some new plantings at the Library
I like to take Fitness decisions at the beginning of each month. On May, I decided to exchange my Chair Yoga class for an additional Zumba class. I originally signed for the Yoga class in order to add some meditation and spirituality to my Fitness Program (It sounds impressive... "Fitness Program"! Hehehehe!). I wanted to feel Peace and air floating, but instead, I got exhausted, upset and anxious. So, I exchanged it. Since May, I'm doing Zumba 3 times a week (2 paid classes and one free class), and I really enjoy every minute of the class.
Although I don't have pictures of my new class, I found it a bit more challenging because it's in the evening and the students are a lot younger, so the teacher does a bit more challenging version of the class. Good for sweating!
On May 2nd, my son had his last class on the College Campus near my house. That's why I went to the park to feel that nice sensation of walking near my son...
I began my walk next to the new flowers at the Library parking lot
Camellias gave me a fragrant gift and the Tiki arrangement at the Campus gave me a visual one
There are new plantings all over the campus
But also all plants are flowering again!
I had not visited my park in one month! I got some good views
The best thing was to come back and stop in front of the building in which my son was receiving classes
After my walk. I went to my Salsa class, came back home. cooked dinner and went again to the Community Center to my new Zumba class. This is a picture after Salsa
That day I reached 14,219 steps!!!
May 3rd was my son's last day of school. He officially finished High School and 2nd year of College, at the same time! I took a picture before going to school and when I went to pick him up.
May 4th. Silver Sneakers and Zumba! Left: A picture with my dear Betsy. She's the best lady in that Center. The picture on the right is with Elda, my fantastic Zumba teacher.
On Saturday, May 5th, I enjoyed a walk at the Park, trying to get off the bitterness I felt because my Mother in Law came to town to destroy all the happiness I had for my Son's Graduation. She stayed at a hotel, thank God, but just to know she was so near was enough to feel the Florida air polluted. However, my park didn't know she was near, so all plants and animals were very happy...
On Sunday, we went for a walk at the beach. My husband and my son walked on the sand and I did at the Boulevard. They are in the picture, next to the sea.
While walking, one man from Canada asked me where he could eat breakfast. I walked him to the restaurants' area of the boulevard. On the way there, he asked me where to buy clothes or find a mall. After a little while, my husband and son reached us, all worried about me being a victim of a criminal mind. I think the poor guy thought we were going to rob him and kill him because he went inside the first restaurant he saw after they came! We continued walking together...
