June 21, 2018 DECIDE TO DO MORE

It has been said by many who are successful that we need to do more. We may believe we can’t possibly do any more than we are already doing because we feel as if we are stretched too thin. However, what we need to do more of is what is truly important in in life. When we do more or seek to add value to others, we are doing what God is calling us to do. Doing more or going that extra mile to help someone will be a blessing to us and to them.

SCRIPTURE:
Ephesians 3:20 “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” (NLT)

ACTION STEPS:
1. Write how you can do more to help others.
2. List one thing you can do a little extra today to show others you care.
3. Know you can seek God’s will on what He wants you to do.
4. Trust in Him, seek opportunities and decide to do more.

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, we want to truly seek out opportunities to do more for others. We know we sometimes get selfish and stuck in our own little world. Help us to see the needs of others and help them. We want to add a little extra to their lives by giving them something and expecting nothing in return. We want to be a blessing to others by sharing Your love and letting them know we care. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

REMEMBER:
Just when we think we can’t do anything else, we can go to God for strength and He will help us to do more.

1 Corinthians 1:25b “God’s weakness is stronger than the greatest of human strength.” (NLT)

If we want to be a blessing to others and share God’s word with them, we need to seek ways to do more.

Making the decision to do more every day to help others will benefit our lives as well as theirs.

God is able to help us do more than we think is humanly possible when we put our faith and trust in Him.

FOCUS:
Mark 10:27 “Jesus looked at them intently and said, ‘Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.’” (NLT)
