June 28, 2018 GOD’S DECISIONS

We will never understand God’s greatness. We will never understand His decisions or His ways. We don’t know His thoughts. There is nothing we can offer Him because He has it all. All we have is because of Him. And we should glorify His name. We don’t know what God knows and there is nothing He needs. But what we can do is obey Him, love Him and give Him glory to show Him we are His believers.

SCRIPTURE:
Romans 11:33, 36a “Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways! For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory.” (NLT)

ACTION STEPS:
1. Write about who God is.
2. List what God is able to do and what He has done.
3. Remember there is nothing God really needs.
4. Know there are things, however, He calls us to do. Let’s start doing them today.

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, we know You have wisdom like no other. We know Your decisions and ways are nothing like ours. Help us to remember to follow and obey You because You always know what is best. You always have the right solutions. You always want to help us. We don’t understand Your ways or decisions but we do put our trust in You. Help us to do things Your ways, always. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

REMEMBER:
We don’t know what God knows but we can know what His will is for our lives.

Isaiah 55:9 “For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” (NLT)

God’s work is so mysterious that many don’t understand and don’t want to believe. However, when we do believe, we have His promise of everlasting life.

We can’t understand God’s decisions and ways but we can know all things are by His power and for His glory.

God’s work is mysterious but it is always perfect and good.

FOCUS:
Isaiah 45:15 “Truly, O God of Israel, our Savior, you work in mysterious ways.” (NLT)
