Small Changes Can Make a BIG Difference!

I just completed Week 10 of Intermittent Fasting, and I've got to say, I'm happy with the results. Probably no one would call what I'm doing "Fasting". Two days a week, I put off breakfast by an hour, and I only eat when I'm hungry. At the first signs of hunger, I drink a tall glass of water, then I eat at the next feeling of hunger. I eat all 3 meals, and I have a small snack in the afternoon. I visualize success, I take steps towards that goal, and I'm seeing results! I'm making healthy food choices, being physically active and I'm sticking to the Spark plan

All I'm doing is following the advice that I've been reading on the Spark regarding tactics to outsmart unhealthy temptations. I also get in plenty of walking, biking, swimming, and kayaking. Seeing my glucose levels go down (I control Type 2 Diabetes with food and exercise) keeps me motivated! I take the time to center myself in both the morning and evening. I keep my goals in front of me. I have some spark friends who motivate me to stick with the plan. RKOTTEK, 1CRAZYDOG, AND MORTICIAADDAMS have given me advice and encouragement on a regular basis, and I appreciate it. I'm a different person because of SparkPeople and all who read and comment on my blog.

By following the plan strictly for just two days a week helps me to plan my meals ahead. I also find that I'm getting stricter with myself on the off days. I know that I can do this! I'm trusting the process and seeing great changes!
