Hello. My name is Wendy. I'm new to SparkPeople but not new to working on my health. I used MyFitnessPal for about 5 years and another computer program for years before until it stopped being supported. I'm 59 years old, married 32 years, raised 2 sons, and also have a daughter-in-love (married to a son) and 2 grandchildren. I was on my first diet in kindergarten. Looking back at pictures I was built solid instead of really fat. Over the years I dieted myself fat - over 400 lbs. Lose a little, gain back more. About 8 years ago I stopped dieting and started living, and my weight went down. I lost more than 100 lbs. Eventually I got lax & gained back about 60 lbs. Over the last few months I've been moving back to taking care of me and I've released those 60 again. I still have about 150 more to go. This has been a long journey and I can celebrate progress. But it is still so far to go. Blessings on the Journey!

    SP really works when we follow its suggestions. I find the water consumption to be important for results. Many times the challenge is not easy but the reward is well worth the challenge. We look forward to hearing how your progress is going. Please advise of future success.
