Good beautiful morning from the hills of Eastern Kentucky.
My son took that pic from his job, high up on a hill overlooking a golf course.
We do live in a beautiful land.
The places I have traveled to in the mountains some places are almost undiscovered, but the people who did discover them dont always care for them.
I see way too much pollution in such a beautiful land.
Makes me think about how we treat the world around us, how we treat other people and even how we treat our own bodies, and souls.
I have junked up my body with junk food, and alcohol and unhealthy foods for much of my adult life.
And then in turn, I junk up my mind with words about being a failure, being fat, being unattractive, unwanted.
Then that in turn makes my soul die a little.
We need to learn to take care of the world around us and that includes caring for ourselves from both the outside and the inside.
But especially from the inside.
Because at the end of the day, we are all we have.
We, our inner voices, our words to ourselves are the last words we hear at night, and the first words we hear when we wake.
Make them kind, and soothing, and encouraging words.
Happy Tuesday everyone.
