once again I am wondering where the time went..almost half the month gone!
Working to get some things done around here..and doing the regular stuff (chores) as well.
tonite I came up one short on my chicken count. I walked the two pens and looked in the trees..but could not find the one I was searching for. In the AM perhaps it will show up..if not I will have to double check fences and such to make sure that the foxes in the area have not dug or found a spot big enough to get in to help themselves to a tasty snack.
Tonites BBQ was nice. The day cooled nicely and the wind even calmed a bit. Some good food, pleasant chat made the food taste even better. Thankful for friends and neighbors near by. I do not like coming home after dark so cut my evening a bit short. I never have liked coming into the house after dark, might be a buggy man there! With all my dogs I doubt anyone would even think to come in..but tis one of my lil quirks. I like to be home as the sun sets and tucked in tight by dark.
I should be able to start painting on the bedroom.Tom had one more thing to finish and should wrap that up tomorrow. He has allergies so I have been holding off painting till he is done in there. Just got the "need to get this done" urge going and need to do it before the mood passes and never comes back!
I will do a coat of white primer then come back with a light tan. For now will paint the floor but perhaps get carpet at a later date. I would like to put wood in..ah will think about it for a while. No denying that carpet sure is warmer in the winter on the toes!!
I left Miss Molly for a short time today while I ran to do some quick stuff. When I got home I was greeted by a cloud of white all over the living room floor. She had attacked the kleenex box emptied about half of it . Then had a tearing good time scattering it well over the dark blue carpet of the living room. At least an easy clean up!! Considering all she could have done..sacrificing one half of a kleenex box doesn't seem too great a price!
Ok...time to wrap up this session and head for the bed. Nite ya'al.!!
Have a beautiful Sunday!!
