Starting Over

Sunday, July 15, 2018

Two words no one wants to say ESPECIALLY when it comes to losing weight. Lately, I suppose for quite awhile now, I've been half assing my workouts AND my new eating lifestyle. So as the title suggest; I'm STARTING OVER😣😒😤 and when I say over.....I mean from 418 pounds AGAIN!!!!! I can't tell you how utterly disappointing that is to me. I know what works for me, low carb, as I am a big carb addict. What wasn't working was ME!! I got way to comfortable with myself and I wasn't even finished with the race!!!!! So as I readjust my Spark Ticker to reflect my true weight, I start my journey all over again. What I will never do is give up! So if you are reading this and you are starting over again, don't be afraid to put your story out there. You maybe helping someone else in the same situation! DAY ONE.......

You are starting that is a plus. Never stay down. After all Edison tried about 99 times to invent the light bulb, but he kept on trying and succeeded.

I am so proud of you! Realizing you need to start over puts you way ahead of staying in the same-old, same-old.

I am doing the same thing! It took me quite awhile to be okay with it and really admit and commit to starting over. I went from 446 to 377. I don't know exactly how much I've gained back because I bought a new scale when I got under 400! I decided I don't need to know... It doesn't matter how much I've gained back. What matters is changing my life. When you look around SparkPeople, some of the people you admire the most have probably gone through a similar setback. It's not the setback that matters; it's what you do next. You can do this again! Pick up and KEEP GOING!

I am proud of you for sticking your nose out there. When I started over, I was not even getting on here. I was not ready to be accountable. But after I had made it through a few weeks with my low carb plan, I began to feel so much better in my body and mentally that I was able to come back a face where I had been. I am also able to see a clear path to where I am going. Congratulations on being able to see that you can hit the reset. Not everyone can see there way to do it.
