Still in the bounce

Up another half pound despite being within my calorie goals all week. Even though I know it's "normal" I do find the bounce frustrating. Still, I have done at least 10 minutes (and often 20 or more) of movement every day this week and I like the way that makes me feel. So I'll push through the frustration, trust the process and keep on keeping on. I'm still down 15 pounds from my unofficial starting point this time (didn't start tracking here until I was already down several pounds) and that's a lot. I posted a photo last week of myself holding a 15 pound bag of rice to visualize just how much in fact. I think that's helpful when you have a lot of weight to lose and it's easy to feel like "small" losses are not making that much difference. When I started here 12 years ago I weighed 289 pounds. Today I weigh 221. That's progress. SLOW progress yes, but progress. I'm ok with that.
