the little things

no waking up at 2 am to take antacids.
no eating by a certain time of evening to make sure i dont.
these are just a few of the things i have noticed in the last few weeks of this low carb plan i have been doing.
i havent had anything such as pizza or acidic type foods in weeks, unless you count regular tomatoes.
this is one side effect of low carb eating that is a positive.
i eat no peanut butter, which was a trigger food for me.
as well as any kind of tomato based foods.
i do still eat garlic, but no garlic bread.
maybe the lighter foods i have been eating just digest faster and dont lay in wait for me to go to bed to attack.
this is one positive.
as for weight loss, i cant speak on that just yet, i still have 5 days before my next weigh in.
this is another first for me, going 30 days without getting on the scale to check progress.
i often think i should so i can prepare myself for the let down if i dont see lower number.
but i made a committment to stick this out and i am going to.
no peaking at the scale.
success or disappointment, either way, i feel better, i rest better.
that is a success for me.
