Have some time before supper (Tim is cooking tonight!) so thought I'd jump on here and get my blog done for the day.
This morning after I got Isaac off with Destinie I took Maegann to the mattress store to buy a good pillow as the neck appears to be the main ache now in the morning. She's feeling so much better! I ordered one for me (they only had one in stock) too. We then went to the discount furniture store as she wanted to look at a bedroom set to get pricing and sizes to talk with her dad. Well....here's what I am having delivered Friday afternoon.
The sofa pair (comes with all those pillows) and the set of round tables. I have been saving my Support Broker money for this purchase as our current set we bought new in 2000 is falling apart. Having it delivered while Tim is in Colorado for a couple of reasons. 1) He would say no due to our current financial situation, and 2) I want to surprise him because he will love it and realize how much this old set is causing backaches. I never do anything like this so Maegann is just sure he is going to kill me. I was thrilled that the sofa set was under $1000.
This afternoon I had a little bit of paid work before going to Maegann's counseling appointment. The new counselor is a "hmmm...not sure" yet, but if she will just do the EMDR therapy and let Shane do the rest of the goals I think it is a win/win. Going to talk to Shane for clarification.
Will be heading out in about half an hour for night three of VBS. Need to get some action photos of all the groups tonight, but here are the images I've been promising!
Full stage view.
As I already posted the close up of the boat, I wanted you to see the other side. The fallen tree houses a very sneaky snake!
On a different subject, here are some current photos of the brick work.
Looks like it was always there, right?!
Tomorrow morning Tim is leaving for Colorado (class reunion and time with his sis) so I'm on my own through the weekend. At least our evenings will be busy. Maegann has a follow-up visit with the ObGyn at 10:30, but that's all during the day.
