Sometimes things go well...

Friday, August 03, 2018

Since we moved here 4 years ago I couldn't find my favorite pan. It was cast steel, cooked similar to cast iron, a good size & weight for what I needed. We looked EVERYWHERE, OVER & OVER. I came to the conclusion that it got left behind and was just gone. I started using a HUGE cast iron that I have but it wasn't really easy for me to move and was really too big. Another one I have is tiny and just too small for much. Earlier this week I was AGAIN wishing I had my favorite pan. I decided to look AGAIN in my pans to see if there was something down there that would work better than than the huge or tiny castirons. My husband looked in the cabinet AGAIN and in the back under another another pan was MY PAN! I promise we have looked there before and I watched for it as we unpacked when we moved here. But we never saw it until today. Earlier today I found myself wishing that my fiber capsules would come earlier than Tuesday, which was when it was scheduled according to package tracking. Looking at what I have on hand I would run out this weekend. It arrived today! Just a little while ago I surprised myself when I was posting a status and realized that I really hoped my husband would be off work this weekend. For the last many months he has worked about 4 hours overtime on Saturday morning. Usually I don't mind but I realized that suddenly, in that moment, I just wanted some time together at home. Shortly after that he texted and said they have wrapped up enough work this week that it doesn't justify working tomorrow! Ok, so sometimes things don't go as we plan, but sometimes they do and sometimes they even work better. Dare to dream & Enjoy the Journey! ❤👍💪😁
